CWIN Vol. 3, No. 5
Necromancer Motors May 2050 Catalog

Updated August 05, 2000
Publish Date: May 10, 2000

Welcome back to our on-line showroom. We hope that there is something that we might be able to sell you this month. This time around we bring you a host of racing and dueling vehicles that we have used in combat and racing. We hope to be able to showcase our talents to you for some type of combat machine you might be looking for.

Some people have said that you cannot do a lot of the stuff that we do to cars, but you have not met some of our customizers from the garage area. They can do some of the most amazing things around a garage when you give them a couple of cases of beer and time.

The Kult of Speed, our sponsor, wishes you welcome and hope you find our machines to your liking.

THRESHER 2050

The first model we have for sale is a heavily modified Thresher that we got our hands on. Using better equipment, we have made the car better for Division 5 dueling.

The first thing that we did was to upgrade everything on the car, ripping it down to the bare frame, then reinforcing it to be able to carry more weight then the standard chassis could. We then added superconductors to the power plant, and put on a better suspension for it to handle just a tad bit better. With the saved weight and the chassis upgrade, we added a lot more armor for the car to take a few more hits, and replaced the older rocket launcher with a newer heavy machine-gun, alterations that make the Thresher able to deal with its enemies more effectively.

We have run this car in a one-on-one arena combat, and the Thresher 2050 beat the other vehicle, a gas-burner, by shooting through the car from end to end. Only a limited number of this conversion made for high-intensity dueling have been manufactured.

Thresher 2050 -- Subcompact, hvy. chassis, small PP with PlatCats and SuperCons, 4 std. tires, driver, HMG front, personal equipment (see below). Plastic armor: F18, R18, L18, B17, T5, U5. Accel. 5, Top speed 95, HC 3; 2,475 lbs., $4,999.

Thresher 2050 Personal Equipment -- Body armor, heavy pistol, PFE.

BOOMER 2050

The next car that we are selling is one that has been offered for a couple of years from Some Other Car Company. We have gotten permission to produce a very limited number of our version of the Boomer, a design our company dueling team used to win the Wisconsin State Division 10 Dueling Championships for the past two years.

We upgraded all of the tires from standard to heavy-duty, dropped all of the fake accessories, made the armored wheel hubs and wheelguards able to take at least one hit from weapons fire, and added a portable fire extiguisher. For defense, we also added a few paint grenades.

The first use of the Boomer 2050, when it was teamed up with our Red Rammer, met with very good success. Both cars killed everything on the field, except for one vehicle that was disabled by one of the other teams in the first few seconds of the fight.

Boomer 2050 -- Mid-size, lt. chassis, medium PP, lt susp, 4 HD tires, driver, BC front with bumper trigger, spoiler, personal equipment (see below). Cargo capacity: 3 spaces, 122 lbs. Plastic armor: F26, R20, L20, B25, T5, U10, two 5-pt. plastic AWHs front, two 5-pt. plastic WGs back. Accel. 5, Top speed 90, HC 1 (2 at 60 mph +); 4,198 lbs., $9,986.

Boomer 2050 Personal Equipment -- Body armor, PFE, 3 paint grenades.

RED RAMMER

This entry we are offering is a ram car, one of our favorites in this month's line-up. The Red Rammer is a compact with a gasoline engine and a hellish ramplate made of metal.

We have two versions of this car for two different autodueling environments: a Division 10 dueling model and a Division 50 racing model. Both cars are not very fast, but they have decent accelerations when they need to get up to speed, and they are loaded with a lot of metal armor that will stop most light weapons fire cold.

As mentioned previously, the Division 10 Red Rammer has been used by our company's dueling team, in coordination with the Boomer 2050, to win the Wisconsin State Dueling Championships for the past two years. In its first combat, the Red Rammer t-boned one car at 70 mph and did not slow down, killing engine and driver. This impact was followed by a head-on ram to confetti another compact at a closing speed of 90 mph.

After its first dueling showing, the Red Rammer's driver wanted to use it in a Division 50 race. We let our mechanics loose when upgrading the car for race worthiness. Teamed up with a pickup, our team won the race. Even though both vehicles were outclassed in the speed department, the team won the event because they were the only functioning cars left on the track.

A version of the Division 10 Red Rammer, with room for street dueling customizations and cargo, is also available.

Red Rammer Division 10 Duelist -- Compact, x-hvy. chassis, 200 ci ICE with multi-barrel carburetor and 3-gallon HD gasoline tank, hvy. suspension, 4 HD tires, driver, personal equipment (see below). Cargo capacity: 4 spaces, 316 lbs. LR metal armor: F20 (ramplate), R11, L11, B11, T2, U2. Accel. 10, Top speed 85, HC 3; 4,124 lbs., $10,000.

Red Rammer Personal Equipment -- Body armor, foam grenade.

Red Rammer Division 50 Racer -- As above, but remove multi-barrel carburetor and fuel tank. Add VP turbocharger, supercharger, tubular headers, blueprinting, 5-gallon racing gasoline tank, roll cage, active suspension, HDABS, HDSAs, 10 points CA around driver, HAVR with LTS, and 8 LLAWs. Replace tires with 4 radial PRs. Downgrade armor to standard metal. Accel. 25, Top speed 120, HC 5 (6 at 60 mph +); 4,431 lbs., $49,853.

DE-ICER

This design was used in the CADC Division 100 arena duel last year. It would have been in the running if not due to driver error.

The De-Icer seems to be light on weapons, but it makes up for the light firepower in speed and acceleration. We do have safety in mind for our crew, therefore we have included a lot of safety gear like upgraded brakes, a roll cage, and a personal fire extinguisher. We have not forgoten targeting system upgrades, including a hi-res targeting computer.

If you were wondering what happened in the CADC match, after getting up to high speed and lead in points early in the event, our De-Icer driver rolled the car. Before the vehicle could stop, soneone came around a corner, and put a triple blast of rockets through the underbody, which killed our employee. Fortunately, we were able to salvage the car.

De-Icer -- Luxury, x-hvy. chassis, 300 ci ICE (with blueprinting, tubular headers, supercharger, VP turbocharger, overdrive, surge protector, and 3-gallon gasoline tank), hvy. suspension, 4 solid tires, driver, 2 linked HMGs (each with 14 shots) front, 2 LMGs (each with 14 shots; 1R, 1L), OJ (with 10 shots) back, ID (with 10 shots) back, link (OJ and ID), 4 bumper triggers (1F, 1R, 1L, 1B), roll cage, HDABS, HRTC, no-paint windshields. FP plastic armor: F50, R39, L39, B40, T12, U20. Accel. 25 (20 with overdrive), Top speed 125 (145 with overdrive), HC 3; 6,598 lbs., $54,170.

De-Icer Personal Equipment -- Impact armor, FP suit, double-barrel gyroslugger (without ammunition), PFE.

DEALER

Next up we have one of the trucks that we team up with the Red Rammer for racing here in the local area. The weapons set-up, designed after armor weight, is centered around four heavy machine-guns. All four of the weapons are placed in the forward arc to bring the most firepower on a single target.

The Gladiator in the Windy City was the first arena we used the tag team of a Dealer and a Red Rammer. As mentioned above, the duo won the race through survival, not speed nor firepower. The Dealer's heavy machine-guns proved not to be able to hit at the ranges and speeds everyone was running, but at least one weapon of the four often hit. A single HMG shot was sufficient, causing enemy cars to lose control and roll off the track.

We are offering a great deal on these trucks because we are overstocked. The race team custom-ordered our current inventory of Dealers never picked up the vehicles, therefore we are offering a great half-price sale just to move these extra trucks out of our factory storage warehouse.

Dealer -- Six-wheel pickup, x-hvy. chassis, 350 ci ICE (with blueprinting, tubular headers, VP turbocharger, and 5-gallon racing gasoline tank), hvy. suspension, 6 PR tires, driver, 2 linked HMGs (each with 15 HD shots) in 2-space turret, 2 linked HMGs (each with 15 HD shots) front, smart link (turret HMGs and front HMGs), HD brakes. FP plastic armor: F60, R40, L40, R40, T25, U15. Accel. 15, Top speed 112.5, HC 2; 7,800 lbs., $49,980.

TRUCKER

The next truck that we have up for sale is one that we where going to use for racing, but we did not use because our drivers talked their way into using a ramcar.

The Trucker is a CADC-specifications off-road racing pickup set up for leaving the highway. It does not have off-road tires, but there is weight capacity to carry a set of Mudsharks in the cargo bed.

We have put a lot of mind into driver safety for this truck, so we have added a roll cage, heavy-duty shocks, and heavy-duty brakes. When you need to bail out, a great way out is to use the safety-ejection seat.

Trucker -- CADC off-road racing pickup, x-hvy. chassis, 350 ci ICE with supercharger and 5-gallon racing gasoline tank, OR racing suspension, 4 solid tires, driver in safety-ejection seat, 3 HRs on large rocket platform, ATG (with APFSDS ammo) front, airdam, spoiler, HDABS, HDSAs, roll cage. FP plastic armor: F60, R45, L45, B45, T12, U15, four 10-pt. FP plastic AWHs. Accel. 15, Top speed 117.5, HC 4 (5 at 60 mph +); 7,345 lbs., $49,975.

Trucker Personal Equipment -- Impact armor, FP suit, thermite grenade with impact fuse, PFE.

DEAD MARK I

This Can-Am is a design we built for CADC races, but we have not had the chance to race it yet. After seeing how several of the other teams in the CADC build their cars, we have decided to drop the Dead Mk. I concept, and sell the four copies of the car. Just to make room in our warehouse, we are offering a 50 percent off deal right now for a Dead, plus a month's supply of spare parts.

Built for speed and firepower, the Dead Mk. I has two heavy machine-guns in a turret. All the safety gear you expect from us is also included.

Dead Mk. I -- CADC Can-Am, x-hvy. chassis, 500 ci ICE (with blueprinting, tubular headers, supercharger, VP turbocharger, overdrive, and 5-gallon racing gasoline tank, active suspension, 4 radial std. tires, driver, 2 linked HMGs in 2-space turret, airdam, spoiler, roll cage, HDABS, HDSAs. LR metal/standard plastic armor: F15/10, R5/10, L5/10, B15/10, T0/14, U0/12. Accel. 25 (20 with overdrive), Top speed 190 (210 with overdrive), HC 7 (8 at 60 mph +); 6,600 lbs., $74,665.

Dead Mk. I Personal Equipment -- Impact armor, FP suit.

That is it for this month's edition of our on-line catalog. We hope there was something that you want to buy, and that you are happy with any of the machines we make.
