MINNOW   

circa 1920-1940.  75"x84  Midwest. A rare find!  This red, white and blue beauty creates on optical illusion of curves, but actually consists of triangles. Very good condition.  A triple border frames the quilt.  Hand quilted at 6 stitches per inch. #MCRWB16  $1200.00

SCALLOPS      

Unknown,  c1920-40's.  66" x 70" We strongly believe this quilt is Amish, but have no documentation.  It is an unusual design, executed in wonderful, solid wool fabrics.  It is hand quilted.  Very good condition.  #KCSCALLOPS $950.00 

INDIAN SUMMER    

Pennsylvania  c1880-1900's   68" x 84" Another of the quilts purchased from a collector in Pennsylvania.  There is another row of tulips folded on the rack.  The quilt is unwashed.  The stems have faded from green, to tan.  There is green appliqué thread, which was used on the stems.  The appliqué is beautiful on cotton sateen.  Very lovely quilting.  Some light staining, which I think would come out with a good soaking.  #0110805  $695.00

POT OF FLOWERS

c1920-1940  72"x96"  Midwest. Sooooooo cute!  This happy quilt is hand appliqued and beautifully hand quilted.  Very little use.  Slighltly scalloped borders.  There is rope quilting in the borders and a floral motif is quilted in the large purple spaces.  A great quilt for purple lovers as myself! #slpf05 $795.00

GRANDMOTHER'S FLOWER GARDEN

circa 1920-1940  74"x80"  Midwest. A beautiful example of a beloved pattern.   Entirely hand pieced and hand quilted, there is a green path through the flowers.  Very nice hand quilting at 6 stiches per inch.  Quilted by the piece in the body of the quilt.  There are circles quilted in the white border and quilted diagonally in the outer green border.
